Ingredients:

  • 1 green tea bag
  • 1 inch of ginger root thinly sliced
  • a pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups of water

Preparation & Consumption:

Add the water and ginger root into a tea kettle and let it come to a boil, add in the green tea bag, and let it simmer over low heat for 2-5 minutes. Cut off the heat and let the tea cool, add in the cinnamon and lemon juice, stir, and let it sit for 2 minutes.

Drink this tea at least 3 times per day, once in the morning, between breakfast and lunch, and once more between lunch and dinner. Make sure not to brew your tea strongly or drink your green tea right before bedtime.
