If you are a raspberry fan, you are going to love this easy raspberry smoothie recipe! It’s low in calories, extremely healthy, and definitely worth a try. With just 4 main ingredients, you’ll have this delicious smoothie ready to serve in just 5 minutes.

This raspberry smoothie comes with a sweetness and a slightly tart flavor. Getting fresh organic raspberries will make your smoothie taste and smell amazing. 

I used frozen raspberries for this smoothie but you can always get yours and freeze them beforehand for your smoothies. (which I highly recommend)

Banana – contain vitamins B6 & C. They are also high in potassium, magnesium, manganese, and fiber. Adding bananas to your smoothies helps increase energy levels and improve muscle function. Bananas also contain some prebiotics making them excellent for gut health.

Almond milk – contains vitamins A & E, plus trace amounts of vitamin D, and is rich in calcium. It’s also a great dairy-free milk option for those who are lactose intolerant.

Ingredients for 1 serving | Total time: 5 minutes

  • 1 cup of raspberries (frozen)
  • 1 medium banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk
  • 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon of raw honey (optional)

How To Make This Raspberry Smoothie

Add the liquids into a high-speed blender and top with raspberries, bananas, and honey. Pulse a few times and blend until extra creamy and smooth.

Note: it may take a few extra minutes to break down the raspberry seeds cause you don’t want those in your smoothie.

Storage & Variations

Drinking your smoothies as soon as you blend them is always recommended because you get all the healthy nutrients right away. However, if you want to store this smoothie for a few hours or overnight, it’s okay.

Just transfer your smoothie into a mason jar or a smoothie cup, close the lid tightly, and pop it in the fridge. You can also freeze this smoothie for up to 2 months but you’ll need a freezer-safe container for this.

Variations

I’ve added ingredients like blueberries, strawberries, avocados, nuts, chia & flax seeds, protein powder, and lemon juice to this smoothie to make it more healthy.
