Here is my favorite raspberry slushy recipe with only 65 calories! It’s sweet, and refreshing, and comes together with only 3 main ingredients. This raspberry drink is great for hot summer days and the best part is that you can make it a few hours ahead.
I loved how cold and cooling this recipe turned out, the mint leaves added an extra cooling effect so don’t throw them away. Besides, mint leaves help with bad breath and bloating so that’s another reason to chew them with your drinks.
Raspberry Slushy Benefits
Raspberries – are packed with antioxidants and vitamin C along with potassium and fiber. Adding raspberries to your diet regularly can help reduce oxidative stress, and inflammation and improve your cognitive health.
Honey – especially raw organic honey has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. It also contains some antioxidants so always use raw honey to get all of its amazing benefits.
Water – and ice will cool your thirst and keep you hydrated during hot summer days!
Raspberry Slushy Recipe
Note: My raspberry slushy came out really thick because I didn’t use crushed ice and less water but following the recipe below, yours will come out much better.
Ingredients for 1 serving | Total time: 5 minutes
- 2/3 cup of raspberries (frozen)
- 1 teaspoon of raw honey
- 1 cup of crushed ice
- 1/4 cup of water or more
How To Make Raspberry Slushy
Add the raspberry, ice, water, and honey into a high-speed blender and pulse a few times to break up the ice (if using large ice like I did).
Blend until smooth and serve over more ice (optional). Garnish with mint leaves, and raspberries and bon-appetit!
