This recipe yields 2 serving
- 2 cups of broccoli (chopped)
- 1 large onion (chopped)
- 2 carrots (cut into cubes)
- 1 cup of cooked chicken breast (shredded)
- 1 large summer squash (cut into cubes)
- 10 brussels sprouts
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 4 cups of chicken stock or chicken broth
- 4 cups of water
- a dash of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 cup of parsley (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
How To Make Vegetable Soup For Constipation
Step 1
Heat the butter and add in the onions, saute until transparent in color, and add in the garlic and carrots. Stir them together and let them saute for another 5 minutes on high heat, add in half of the parsley and let it fry for a minute.
Step 2
Next, add the chicken stock, water, black pepper, salt, broccoli, brussels sprouts, and chicken breast. Let it cook for 20 minutes and then lastly, add in the summer squash and the rest of the parsley. Lower the heat and let it simmer for another 25-30 minutes until done. Serve while still warm.
