Turmeric Drinks Benefits
Turmeric – is a spice that has a lot of antioxidants that help reduce inflammation, pain, and oxidative stress. Most research shows that turmeric has the same effect (if not better) as ibuprofen. I add it to my recipes to help with my RA symptoms.
Ginger – has antifungal, and anti-bacterial, along with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps with oxidative stress, inflammation, and digestion, and also reduces bloating and gas.
Green Tea – comes second to hibiscus tea when it comes to high antioxidants. It’s great for skin, heart health, diabetes, and inflammation along with oxidative stress. You can have up to 3 cups of green tea per day for the best benefits.
Raw Honey – is so similar to ginger because it also contains anti-fungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties.
However, raw honey comes with extra vitamins and minerals such as niacin and riboflavin calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc.
Oat & Almond Milk – both contain a good amount of vitamins A, E, & B along with a little bit of vitamin D and calcium. They are also dairy-free which is great for those with lactose intolerance or digestive problems.
