Iced Turmeric Green Tea Benefits

Green tea – has a ton of benefits but did you know that it has the highest amounts of antioxidants (polyphenols) than any other tea? Yes, it’s true, studies show that these antioxidants are great for skin, heart, weight loss, inflammation, and stress.

Turmeric – is my go-to spice for all of my recipes because it helps with my inflammation. This spice contains curcumin which reduces pain, muscle soreness, oxidative stress, inflammation, anxiety, and so much more!

Organic raw honey – is the best type of honey to add to your recipes and according to Mayo Clinic, it helps with inflammation, contains antioxidants and has antibacterial properties.

Cinnamon – isn’t just there for the flavor, it has some health benefits too! Similar to green tea, it may help you lose weight by firing up your metabolism. It’s also great for nausea, inflammation, and diabetes, and lowers high cholesterol.
