Low-Calorie Avocado Mayo Recipe
If you don’t like a strong garlicky flavor, try reducing the amount of garlic powder this recipe calls for. I recommend using lemons only for this recipe because limes will make your mayo very sour.
Some people substitute apple cider vinegar but I found that lemons tasted the best. Additionally, you can use avocado oil instead of olive oil, it’s just as healthy and tastes great.
Lastly, make sure your avocados are green when you open them, and don’t use them if they are dark brown, grey, or contain mold. You also don’t want to use mushy avocados for this recipe.

What To Serve With Avocado Mayo
There are so many options that I don’t know where to start! You can use this mayo as a spread on your favorite toast, mix it with cole slaw instead of regular mayonnaise, or even as a dip while munching on your favorite roasted veggies or chips.
You can also use this mayo in tuna or chicken salad, your options are endless. I had some toasted pita bread with this avocado mayo and it was delicious!
Storage
To store your avocado mayo, transfer it to a mason jar or any jar with a lid and add a tablespoon of olive oil so that it preserves perfectly and put it in the fridge for up to a week. It’s been more than a week since I’ve had mine in the fridge and it still tastes great.
The color got darker at the top in one of the jars because I forgot to olive oil but the taste is still the same.
