Summer is around the corner and we all need a glass of something cold right? Well, instead of reaching for soda or other sugary drinks, try this iced turmeric latte recipe. It’s delicious and extremely healthy plus, it is low in calories and great for inflammation.
I love turmeric drinks and I’ve tried a lot of them over the years. I add them to smoothies, desserts, and most of my meals but they taste so much better in lattes. I’ve actually started drinking turmeric lattes instead of my regular coffee lately and you should too!
Benefits Of This Turmeric Latte
Turmeric – has a ton of health benefits, it’s an amazing spice that helps with inflammation, metabolic problems, and arthritis. People with anxiety can also find turmeric helpful because it has a calming effect. Drinking a cup of warm turmeric latte before bedtime can also help you have a good night’s sleep.
Almond milk – is great for those who are lactose intolerant, it also has a good amount of vitamin E, D, and calcium plus it’s lower in calories and carbs. Studies also show that almond milk may help reduce inflammation as well.
Ginger – is easy on the stomach, it reduces constipation, bloating, and gas. It also aids in reducing inflammatory markers because it contains antioxidants called gingerol and Shogaol.
Honey – has a ton of health benefits but you need to get organic raw honey and not the ones with additives and preservatives. It’s packed with antioxidants that help reduce oxidative stress and inflammation. You also get amazing anti-bacterial and anti-fungal benefits from adding raw honey to your recipes.

Iced Turmeric Latte For Hot Summer Days
Ingredients for 2 servings | Total time: 5 minutes
- 1 1/2 cups of almond milk (lite-unsweetened)
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- a pinch of black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups of ice
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

How To Make Iced Turmeric Latte
Grab a mason jar or a 400ml glass or cup and add the ice with 1 cup of almond milk.
Next, mix the rest of the almond milk with the turmeric, honey, ginger, black pepper, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Don’t worry if the cinnamon isn’t dissolving, pour the mixture over the iced almond milk and enjoy.
Note: You can mix the rest of your ingredients in a blender for a more even mixture.
I recommend drinking turmeric drinks shortly before or after meals because turmeric needs fat in order to work properly.
